VISA EXTENSION: If you have extended your visa through immigration, then you’ll have spent around 600-800AED and now it means you can only exit on the very last exact day of the extension. Leaving 1 day early and you will not receive a new visa. Leave 1 day late and you’ll have an overstay fine. Additionally, you may need to stay out overnight and re-enter the following day.

All other European nationalities get 90 day non-renewable tourist visas every 180 days and can only do a visa run when changing status; Residence-Tourist or Tourist-Resident.

CANCELLED RESIDENCE VISA. Nationalities that can change from a cancelled residence visa to a tourist visa. Travel on any day during the cancellation period and bring your cancellation paper.
